What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your verified email address, account identifier, and basic profile information. We also store the profile and timezone you provide. If you use ContextAlive, we store the thoughts, messages, files, voice transcripts, reminders, memories, calendar actions, and other context you choose to share, along with operational records needed to deliver them.
Google Calendar access
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, ContextAlive requests access to see your available calendars, read upcoming events, and create, change, or delete events you explicitly ask us to manage. We use this access to show your schedule, answer calendar questions, and carry out your scheduling requests. We store connection details and encrypted OAuth tokens so the connection can continue working until you disconnect it or delete your account.
ContextAlive does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. We do not use your Google data for advertising or sell it.
How your information is used
Your content helps ContextAlive respond to you, keep useful context, prepare reminders and follow-ups, and make calendar actions you request. Calendar details may be included in a response you ask for, such as a spoken answer, web chat reply, or Telegram message. We use account and technical information to keep the service running, investigate failures, and protect accounts.
Authorized ContextAlive administrators can review stored account details, onboarding answers, messages, original uploads, voice transcripts, replies, and delivery records for support, safety, and troubleshooting. Access to an account's conversation history or original upload is recorded in an admin audit log.
Services involved
Google provides sign-in and Calendar access. Telegram carries messages when you use the bot. OpenAI processes relevant text, files, audio, and requested calendar context to generate responses and organize your information. The application and its database run on Amazon Web Services. We share information with these providers only as needed for the features you use; their own services may process data under their applicable terms and policies.
Storage and security
ContextAlive uses HTTPS for the website, encrypts stored Google OAuth tokens, limits access to its application, database, and original uploads, and makes restricted server backups. The optional owner password is stored as a salted password hash. We use SHA-256 hashes for selected one-time links and session identifiers; hashing is not encryption of your messages or files. We store the content you submit so ContextAlive can recall and use it for the features you choose. No online service can promise perfect security, but these measures are intended to reduce unauthorized access.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account content, including sent Telegram messages and reminders, while your account is active so ContextAlive can remember and act on it. Short-lived Telegram webhook receipts are normally removed after 7 days; completed or cancelled background job records after 30 days. The separate sent-message history remains with your account after those jobs are removed. Server backups rotate after approximately 14 days. When you delete your account, live account data and stored original uploads are removed. Earlier backup copies may remain until their normal rotation. Limited operational records may remain where needed for security or service integrity.
Deleting your ContextAlive account does not remove messages from Telegram chats or events already added to your Google Calendar. Those can be managed in Telegram and Google Calendar.
Your controls
In Settings, you can export your data, review and correct memories, disconnect Google Calendar, and check whether your account can be deleted. Account deletion asks for a typed confirmation and first checks that household responsibilities will not be silently abandoned. If a household item blocks deletion, resolve or transfer it before trying again.
